Walt Frasier is the Artistic Director and a founding member of 8 Improv. For the past 30 years, Walt Frasier has performed comedy, theater and music internationally and had costar roles on Blacklist (NBC), Billions (Showtime), Blue Bloods (CBS), Royal Pains (USA), Lilyhammer (Netflix) and Naked Brothers Band (NICK). Frasier has performed sketch comedy bits on PAUSE with Sam Jay (HBO), Late Night with David Letterman (CBS, 9 episodes), and Stankervision (MTV). Additional you may have seen him on countless commercials, industrials and reality TV program. Now the author of numerous books, his Comedy 4 Life series can be found on Amazon (free via Kindle Unlimited).

Laurice Fattal is the executive producer and a founding member of 8 Improv. Laurice has been performing in theatre, music concerts, and stage shows since the age of 10. She originally began writing scripts and composing music through her own vocal group in high school. She continued to pursue her passion for the performing arts in college through studies in theatrical production, acting, music and opera. She has worked in casting, directing, and writing with professional companies based out of NYC, MD and DC. Laurice has written and performed in dozens of sketch comedy digital shorts for LMAONYC. Other credits include the Indie short mockumentary: P.O.O.P: The Movie, Writer/Director of The Top 8 at Eight (original web series), Fox & Friends. Amelia Fowler, member since 2009, is a native of Brooklyn, New York and proud to have performed in works like “POSE”, GLAAD award winning play “She Like Girls” and her one woman show “Flozetta” performed at HERE as part of the Downtown Urban Theater Festival. Amelia has also been seen in commercial spots for Cablevision, the History Channel, IFC, as well as comedy venues throughout the Northeast with her fellow cast mates of the improv troupes “Comedy Sportz-New York,” and “Eight is Never Enough.” She is also totally psyched about projects she is anxiously awaiting to be released like, “Are You Happy Now” and “The Many Saints of Newark”. https://www.ameliafowler.com/

Evan Schultz, member since 2009, is a Long Island native and graduate of Wagner College with a BA in Musical Theatre Performance/ Voice and Speech. He has been seen here At The Argyle Theatre in The Wizard of Oz (Lion/Zeke), Harry Connick, Jr.’s The Happy Elf (Santa/Ensemble), The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley (Male Swing), James and the Giant Peach (Grasshopper), and would have been seen in Junie B. Jones The Musical (Mrs. Gutzman/Mr. Scary/Daddy/Mr. Woo), but that was unfortunately postponed due to COVID-19. He is the Acting Teacher/Director for the Argyle Academy of the Arts Summer Intensive. He teaches improv and acting at the Argyle during the fall and spring classes. Evan has also stage managed here, and is the Resident Argyle Children’s Theatre Props Designer. Nathan Armstrong, member since 2011, is the Executive Producer and co-creator of On the Spot. He has been acting professionally in Los Angeles and New York for two decades, with productions ranging from the tour of “Phantom” to the current run of “LMAO Off-Broadway”.  He has directed productions of “A New Brain”, “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown”, “Peter Pan” and “Absent Minded Comedy”, as well as helped produce events for the Orleans in Las Vegas, the Los Angeles County Fair, the Hilton Hawaiin Village and the Sheridan Waikiki.

Liz Lord began her acting career focusing on Shakespeare and classical theater, yet nowadays finds herself pulled toward laughter rather than tears. Embracing her true comedic self, she has been playing with Eight Is Never Enough for a long while now, proving that eight years with this company was not, in fact, enough. As the longtime Education Director, she has taught thousands of students, many of whom have gone on to successful acting careers, and has mentored and managed groups of interns who now serve as her minions. Member since 2012, Thomas Burns Scully is an actor, writer and musician. After a childhood spent in various unexpected corners of the world, he has spent an adulthood in various unexpected areas of the creative arts. He has spent over a decade as an improviser, regularly performing multiple shows a week, is a long-standing devising member of the Drama Desk nominated Live in Theater group, and has appeared in such film and TV projects as Comedy Central’s “Broad City”. As a writer he is a recipient of the WB Yeats Playwriting Award, the 1st Irish Festival Audience Favorite Award, and was once described as “haunting” by Neil Gaiman. He is also a talented multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter. For a time he was resident guitarist at the Hard Rock Cafe Times Square and currently plays lead guitar in indie rock band Hurricane Holly. Samuel Van Wyk is a managing director at 8 Improv, often running public shows, private events and a top notch corporate trainer. As an improviser, Samuel has performed for thousands of students and adults. He has also lead Improvisational workshops for all ages from kindergarten students to senior executives and everything in between. Samuel has lead workshops on the benefit of improv in a business setting for professionals in the education and medical field as well as corporate clients like IBM, Bing, and JP Morgan. As an actor, Samuel works in TV, Film, and Theatre. Samuel has appeared in such TV shows as Evil Talks, Diabolical, and Mysteries at the Museum. Favorite stage roles include Malcolm (The Full Monty), Hal (Proof), and Snoopy (You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown!).

Member since 2018, would like to believe you are laughing WITH him, not AT him. Ryan is an actors, singer, dancer, writer, noodle hailing from upstate NY. He is also a recent graduate of NYU Tisch (Experimental Theatre Wing/New Studio on Broadway). Besides working his first ever improv job with Eight is Never Enough, Ryan loves bringing new works to life (so you won’t know any of his recent credits until they hit that good good Broadway transfer). Right before the quarantine life started, Ryan was cast in a new Off Broadway run of Naked Boys Singing. Critics have called him a “vocal powerhouse,” a “laugh riot,” and a “person.” Armed with a fast paced walk, and his home-made cold brew, he’s ready to take the world by storm!

Andrea Hernandez Mieres, Member since 2019, is a Mexican & Spanish singer, actress and dancer. Andrea regularly manages our Times Square NYC shows and private events. Originally from Mexico City where she debuted professionally on the Musical Theater scene in the Mexican Broadway versions of The Fiddler on the Roof and The Scarlet Pimpernel. This AMDA NY graduate is a talented actress, singer, dancers, and model taking the New York scene by storm.

Elise Ramaekers is an actor, improviser, singer, and model originally from Des Moines, Iowa. Now based in NYC, she enjoys all forms of creation, from comedy to acting to trimming her own bangs! Driven by a desire to make people happy (and maybe a little bit of selfishness), she invites you to explore her work and reach out if you think she might be the right fit for your next project.

David Lee Morea is an award winning filmmaker and photographer from Tampa, Florida. David graduated with a BFA from NYU Film as well as an MA from NYU. David has worked for companies such as NBC, Fox, and the United Nations where he produced a series of educational documentaries used for training ambassadors and diplomats within the UN network. Now he does improv; which is really what he wants to do.

Max Feldman is an improviser and musician living in Brooklyn. He performs regularly at the Broadway Comedy Club, Magnet Theater, Caveat, and BCC. Sound design credits include Heartbeat Opera and A.P.E. Ltd. Obi Nwako recently graduated from Willaims College with a bachelor of arts in theater where he learned to be an actor and improviser. Born and raised in the Bronx, Obi is excited to make his NYC improv scene debut as a part of the group and even more excited to see where this part of his life will take him.

Ashley Albinus is an actor/improviser from Brooklyn, NY. As a senior at Columbia University, she has led the university’s oldest improv comedy troupe, Fruit Paunch Improv, for the past 3 years. In her time studying abroad in Madrid last spring, she performed with local English-language improv troupe, MAD Improv. Having joined Eight Is Never Enough in July, she is thrilled to continue performing at the Broadway Comedy Club.

Eddie is a professional Actor, Comedian, Playwright, Director, Producer, and Voiceover Artist in New York City.  He is from Boca Raton, Florida, and when he’s not busy with all things Theatre, he loves to play and watch basketball.
